Sunday was a beautiful day for pet lovers across Kentuckiana to come together and raise funds for our furry friends at KHS. Over a 1,000 people and their pets participated in the 23rd annual Waggin Trail Festival.
Over $96,000 has been raised for the thousand of animals we care for each year!
We are making a final plea to meet our $100,000 goal and we are so close! It is not too late to give one last gift to the animals!
Thank you for being a champion for companion animals!
The Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) advocates the humane treatment of companion animals through leadership and proactive solutions to pet overpopulation, including adoptions, education and spay/neuter efforts. Founded in 1884, KHS is the oldest and largest animal welfare agency in the state thanks to private supporters. As the area’s number one resource for pets and pet services, KHS is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals.
Donor support enables KHS to continue sheltering and providing care for thousands of needy, homeless animals each year. We do not receive any state or federal funding from any entity, nor do we receive any funding from the Humane Society of the United States or the American Humane Association.
